On Wednesday October 15th,  180 students and 25 chaperones attended the Senior Class Fall Trip to the National Mall. The trip, entitled the Amazing Race, was comprised of 23 teams of nine people including a chaperone. The groups, starting at the Washington Monument, raced across the mall while completing various picture finds, fact funds, dares, and recitations of famous political speeches. The Amazing Race stretched from The Sculpture Garden to the Lincoln Memorial and the Marthin Luther King, Jr. Memorial to the White House.
In the end, the winning team was LaPlanet of the Apes with MilLet it Rock, District 12, Raviola & Meatballs, and Team Spinz trailing closely behind.  Congratulations to the winning team and a big thank you to all those involved for their cooperation and participation.

Sports Concussion Education Training
All middle and high school student athletes and their parent/guardian are required to complete an annual Concussion Training according to Prince William County Public School Policy 759. As there are sufficient differences in the way concussions will be handled at the middle school and high school levels, a parent having children in both middle and high schools are required to attend both a middle and a high school presentation. Students and their parent/guardian have two ways to receive this concussion training. 1.)Face to Face Training- High school parents and students who are entering 9th grade and trying out for a sport for their first time in high school or are new to Prince William County Public schools must attend a face to face concussion training at their respective school. Click here for the face to face meeting schedule. 2.)Online training- Beginning June 22, 2014, parents and students who have already attended a face-to-face training may take this year’s mandatory concussion training online. Rising 6th grade and 9th grade students and students new to Prince William County Public Schools are not eligible for the Online Training. Start the online training.
